After decades of debate and a rejected California Supreme Court appeal, the West Valley College stadium controversy has been declared a nonissue until further notice.  More The Saratoga City Council will decide at a future meeting whether to join more than 50 cities nationwide in passing an antiwar resolution.  More After 34 years of heading up the Saratoga Fire District, Ernie Kraule is about to take on a new role as the district's liaison for construction of the fire station.  More

Ng formally charged City projects Musical accomplishment
The man whom sheriff's deputies caught in the act of breaking into a Saratoga woman's home has been formally charged with possessing a tool for an unlawful purpose and attempting burglary and attempting rape of the resident.  More In January city staff members held public meetings to discuss traffic-calming measures for the El Quito neighborhood, an access trail to Gardiner Park and a playground replacement project for Wildwood Park.  More Band director Mike Boitz has led Saratoga High School musicians to win multiple competitions and honors in the past five years, despite the fact that he disdains titles and awards.  More
