'Creations' display at Aegis Gallery

Be sure to catch the Aegis Gallery's art exhibit "Where Creations Are Visualized" before it packs up Feb. 23.

Featuring macramé jeweler Irina Serbina, acrylic and oil painters Li-Chen Kuo and Christine Chen and photographer Hiroko Muramatsu, the collection is an eclectic blend of work in texture and tone.

Serbina's collection of jewelry includes bracelets, cuffs and earrings designed with silk cording and stones of various shapes and colors.

Kuo and Chen use a splash-wash Chinese color process and material to create brightly colored renditions of vineyards, forests and redwood trees.

Muramatsu is showing a collection of photographs from a three-week Paris excursion; the exhibit is titled "The First Time I Saw Paris."

The Aegis Gallery is located at 14531 Big Basin Way and is open Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
