The bride is the daughter of James and Cathy Giovando of Petaluma. She is a graduate of Petaluma High School and UC-Davis.

The groom is the son of Eunice and Gene Meyer of Gilroy and the late Gerald Watts. A graduate of Saratoga High School and UC-Davis, he works for the American Automobile Association.

The couple was married in Petaluma, with the bride wearing her mother's wedding veil and her grandmother's pearl necklace. The couple honeymooned in Bali and now resides in Tiburon, Calif.
