Ice, Ice Ladies
|

|
Teachers became students at Foothill Elementary School as the entire staff participated in a science experiment last week. Diana Baron (left) and Maria Miller tie string and wire around a ball of ice in an ice balloons project to determine the ice's insulating properties. Led by four Saratoga Union School District staff members, the experiment was part of the 'Inquiry Science Workshop: Techniques for Questioning.' The same project was conducted at all three elementary schools in the district, and participants included the district's board members and some parents.
