Saratoga Little League party
The second annual Congress Springs Little League Party, benefiting the Saratoga Little League, will be held May 3, 6:30 p.m.midnight, at Villa Ragusa, 35 S. Second St. in downtown Campbell (next to Stoddard's).
The $60 donation includes buffet dinner, drinks, a DJ, dancing and karaoke. There will also be raffles and a silent auction. All proceeds from the event benefit the Little League.

Bowe wins honor
Kevin Bowe of Saratoga has earned All-American status as a triathlete after finishing in the top 10 percent in the nation at the U.S. National Trials held last year in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Bowe, a graduate of Mitty High School, competed last weekend at the National Collegiate Triathlon Trials held in Phoenix, Ariz. He will graduate this June from UC Santa Barbara.
Fencers place
Jessica Wacker and Stephanie Lee of Saratoga each won medals for the California Fencing Academy at the Junior Pacific Coast Championships held earlier this month at Fresno State University.
Wacker, 14, won bronze medals in the under-19 women's foil and the 16 and under women's foil, and Lee, 17, finished in seventh place in the women's under-19 saber.
Wacker and Lee helped the California Fencing Academy win the trophy for best overall club performance in the tri-state fencing tournament.
Golf for Kaitlyn
A golf tournament to benefit Kaitlyn Langstaff and her family will be held May 5 with a 1 p.m. shotgun start at the Silver Creek Country Club. The entry fee of $150 includes green fees, a golf cart and lunch.
Raffle prizes include a signed San Jose Sharks jersey, a hockey stick autographed by Teemu Selanne, a one-night stay at Cordevalle, a round of golf for four at Silver Creek, gift certificates for Maggiano Little Italy in Santana Row and at Steamers in Los Gatos and much more.
All proceeds from the tournament go to Kaitlyn and the Langstaff family. Kaitlyn is a Saratoga 9-year-old who suffers from toxic epidermal necrolysis, a severe form of Stevens Johnson Syndrome.

Irish golf tourney
The seventh annual Irish-American Heritage Society Golf Tournament will be held May 12 at the Almaden Golf and Country Club in San Jose. Teams of four will open with a shotgun start that Monday, and the winning foursome will claim a 10-day holiday tour of Ireland.
Proceeds from the tourney benefit youth scholarships and activities in Ireland. For more information, call 408.445.1364.
