CRIMINAL THREATS—April 26, 10:10 a.m. An officer was dispatched to a disturbance call at a business on Prospect Road. After arriving at the site, the officer discovered that the suspect had assaulted the victim the night before and had returned to cause more trouble. The victim requested that the suspect be arrested. The suspect did not want to cooperate with the officer. According to the officer, the suspect made death threats concerning the victim while being transported to the Santa Clara County Main Jail.

EVADING A PEACE OFFICER—April 23, 11:35 p.m. between Saratoga Avenue and Lawrence Expressway. An officer attempted to stop a driver for excessive speed and failing to stop at the limit line at a red light. When the driver failed to yield, the officer activated the car siren. Instead of pulling to the right, the driver turned in another direction. Two other deputies assisted in the pursuit, which lasted approximately 5.5 miles. The driver was reported as being uncooperative and resisted being handcuffed.

FOUND PROPERTY—April 23, 11 p.m. between Prospect and Saratoga-Sunnyvale roads. While patrolling an area on Prospect Road, an officer noticed an abandoned-looking unlocked bicycle propped against a utility pole. Nobody was present in the area. The officer ran the serial number in the computer system and booked it as found property.
