Sheriff's Report
Unattended Death—June 1, 5:13 p.m. on Terrence Road. An officer was dispatched to a call regarding a dead body. When the officer arrived, the fire department and the paramedics were already on the scene. The officer remained at the site until the coroner's office arrived to retrieve the body.

Vandalism—May 30, 9:40 a.m. on Glen Una Drive. A resident reported that an unknown person had damaged her mailbox. The estimated cost to replace the mailbox is $23. No suspect information is available.

Vandalism—May 30, 7:05 a.m. on Sobey Road. A resident reported that an unidentified suspect had thrown a rock in her front window. The cost to replace the window is approximately $1,000.

Missing Person—May 30, 5 a.m. on Westover Drive. A woman reported to officers that her husband was missing. She said that this was uncharacteristic of him and that he was at risk due to depression. The officer notified the radio personnel. The husband returned home a couple hours later.

Found Property—May 29, 8:51 a.m. between Fourth Street and Springer Avenue. An officer found a set of keys next to a new black Toyota Tacoma with a missing license plate.

Possession of Weapon—May 28, 10:50 a.m. on Prospect Road and Lawrence Expressway. A student passed out in the teacher's parking lot after inhaling Endust. The student suffered head injuries and was taken to the hospital. The officer conducted a backpack search and found less than an ounce of marijuana and several unguarded razors. The student was cited and released to her father.

Burglary—May 27, 10:20 p.m. on Carnelian Glen Court. An unknown person broke into a residence through the master bedroom window and stole a jewelry box and some jewelry pieces from an armoire. The total value of the items stolen is estimated to be approximately $11,000. It will cost approximately $1,200 to replace the broken window. The suspect is still at large.
