Sheriff's Report
Uncontrollable Minor—June 14, 8 p.m. on Ashton Court. A daughter and her parents were engaged in a verbal argument in which the mother sustained a laceration on her right arm and the daughter had a scrape on her knee. When the parents went to the hospital to get the laceration treated, the daughter went to a friend's house. The daughter was considered to be uncontrollable and was brought back home upon the parent's request.

Vandalism—June 11, 4:10 p.m. on Sea Gull Way. An identified suspect entered a home and used a pen to write a 1 1/2-by-2 inch word on the living room wall. The victim said the writing was similar to Korean script. There were no forced signs of entry. The windows were unsecured and the doors were locked. Nothing was damaged or taken from the residence.

Violation of Civil Rights—June 11, 8:55 a.m. on Miljevich Avenue and Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. A victim reported that an unknown suspect spray painted a yellow swastika on the rear of one of her vehicles. Liquid sugar was also poured into the gas tank. The victim said that both her children, who use the vehicle often, have known enemies at their school. Damages to the vehicle may exceed $1,700. Yellow paint chips were collected as evidence.

Burglary—June 10, 11:20 a.m. on Herriman Avenue and Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. Six months ago, a suspect took a motherboard from a computer and an MP3 player from a classroom. Recently, the victim of the stolen items heard that a suspect had his goods. The suspect confessed when the victim confronted him about the issue. The suspect returned the items the next day. The victim reported the suspect to the reporting party, who then notified the sheriff's office.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia—June 9, 6:30 p.m. on Paseo Lado. An officer confronted a suspect who had three no bail warrants. The officer found a glass pipe that is used for methamphetamine. The suspect was arrested and taken to Main Jail.

Petty Theft—June 8, 8:40 p.m. on Quito Road. A victim reported that an unidentified suspect took an oleander tree from her yard. The tree is valued at $15. No suspect information is available.
