Makin' Music
|

|
Music for all ages was the dish du jour on June 9, when The Rhythm Makers put on a special performance at Montalvo's Carriage House Theatre. The 22-member group is comprised of developmentally disabled adults who sing, dance, and play percussion instruments. Featured works included a variety of marching tunes, salsa, jazz, and pop music. The band performs annually at Montalvo, as part of a team effort between the Education and Outreach Program at Montalvo and Hope Rehabilitation Services.
