Traffic calming Burning house Police chase
Drivers traveling through one of the city's busiest intersections will soon have no other option but to sit through traffic during morning and afternoon commute hours as a result of a traffic-calming plan.  More A passing motorist proved to be a lifesaver for a family trapped in a burning home on Saratoga Vista Road.  More An ATM theft gave way to a police chase July 23, ending in the parking lot of the offices of the Saratoga News.  More

Contract awarded Park plan CyberRays camps
At a July 23 meeting the Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High School District quickly approved a contractor for a project that will modernize classrooms in Saratoga High.  More While Saratoga's Historic Park currently leaves much to be desired, members of the city's heritage preservation commission and the Saratoga Historical Foundation are working together to transform it into a beautiful setting.  More Female soccer fans of all ages are learning skills from the pros at the CyberRays camps.
