SJ Rep's Blue Twilight

Supporters of the San José Repertory Theatre gathered July 12 to enjoy Cookin' at the Cookery, the show celebrating the life of Alberta Hunter, followed by Blue Twilight—dinner, dancing and a live auction bursting with the sights and sounds of Greenwich Village. The exclusive showing of the summer musical was preceded in the Rep's lobby by a champagne reception. The post-show celebration took place next to the theater in a big tent on Repertory Plaza.

Members of the Los Gatos Yacht Club marked their 25th anniversary with a party July 19 outdoors at the home of Linda Sarles in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The club was founded in 1978 by Bill Moreland, Keith Louwenaar, Bob Sheldon and Clark Jones to bring together people with an interest in sailing and socializing. For the first year, members gathered regularly at Mountain Charley's.
