Access to Wildcat
trail reopened
Board members of the Santa Clara Valley Water District ended a long-term debate regarding the Wildcat Creek trail connecting Springhill Court to Gardiner Park, ordering that the cyclone fences on each end of the trail be taken down after a year of being closed off from the public. The decision came following a unanimous vote during a meeting held on Aug. 5. Plans regarding installing safety devices along the trail are currently being discussed. The trail is still under the district's jurisdiction.
