Vandalism—Aug. 11, 12:45 a.m. on Saratoga Avenue. An unidentified person smashed the left rear window of a victim's vehicle with an unknown object. The vehicle was parked on the street in front of the victim's house.
Vandalism—Aug. 10, 8:55 a.m. A misdemeanor vandalism occurred at a residence on Charters Court. An unknown person struck a single-paned glass window facing an elementary school with an unknown object, causing a 1-inch hole in the screen and a 4-inch diameter hole in the glass. Glass shards were scattered throughout the living room. The estimated cost to replace the window is $200.
Vandalism—Aug. 9, 9:30 a.m. between Old Oak Way and Pierce Road. An unknown person pulled a metal mailbox off a wooden post. The mailbox was found approximately 10 feet from its post. The estimated cost of repair is $50. There are no witnesses at this time.
Improper Care Of Animal—Aug. 5, 2:15 p.m. on Quito and Pollard roads. An officer from the Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority spotted two dogs running near Quito and Ravenswood roads. The officer was able to capture one, but the other dog ran off. The officer followed the dog to the suspect's address. The sheriff's office was called to the home. The suspect was cited for allowing the dogs to run around unsupervised, not having either dog licensed and not having evidence of one of the dogs being vaccinated.
Vandalism—Aug. 5, 1 p.m. on 4th Street. An unknown person smashed the wooden lattice on five sections of a fence. The damage is estimated at $500. There are no witnesses at this time.
Found Property—Aug.5, 12:40 p.m. on Green Meadow Lane and Manor Drive. A computer monitor and the shell of a control panel unit were found discarded on the street. The officer checked the computer monitor's serial number to see if the property was stolen. There were no reports of a stolen computer with the same number. The control panel unit was not marked with a serial number.
Forgery—Aug. 5, 8:15 a.m. on McDole and McCoy streets. A victim reported stolen mail in which three checks were included. In the stack was a tax return, which was forged and cashed somewhere in Boulder Creek. The value of the checks is $2,146.
