The bride is the daughter of James and Margaret Brunette of Monroe, Wis. A graduate of Monroe High School and Stanford University, she is a foreign service officer for the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, U.S. Department of State, in Washington, D.C.

The groom is the son of Dr. Horen and Jenny Chen of Saratoga. He is a graduate of Bellarmine College Preparatory and Stanford University and is in his second year at Harvard Law School.

The couple resides in Arlington, Va.
