The annual bocce ball party at the Monte Sereno home of Glynn and Bob Lewis turned into a birthday bash for those in attendance who celebrated birthdays in August. In addition to Bob Lewis' birthday, natal days were celebrated by his uncle Jerry Lewis, marking his 104th birthday, and Nicole Perkins Reed, Jerry Mehus, Mark Quali, Larry Puccinelli, and Victor Aboukhater.

Chefs bite back auction

Second Harvest Food Bank was the beneficiary of Chefs Bite Back, featuring wine, appetizers and an auction at Crimson in Los Gatos on Aug. 10. The fundraiser, organized by Crimson chef/owner Diane Rose, featured food and wine contributed by local wineries and restaurants.
