Buy books as a
benefit for Bells
Borders Books & Music of Santana Row is hosting a special day on Oct. 25 to benefit the annual Bellarmine Mothers' Guild Fashion Show for Financial Aid. The day will include a sneak preview of the latest Eli Thomas fashions, modeled by Bellarmine students. Borders will also donate 15 percent of selected pre-tax purchases when customers present a Bellarmine Benefit Day voucher. Vouchers are available online at http://activities.bcp.org/mothers_guild.
The 49th annual Bellarmine Mothers' Guild Fashion Show will be held on Nov. 7 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose. Tickets for the luncheon show are $80 per person, and $135 for the black-tie dinner dance. For more information, call 408.294.9224.

Gallery Saratoga is seeking submissions from local artists interested in becoming featured artists. The gallery has five to six open slots for artists of any medium. 'Toga artist hosts
show in Palo Alto
Saratoga resident Starr Davis makes her mark on the local arts scene Oct. 21 through Nov. 15 at the Gallery House in Palo Alto. Davis will show a variety of her works, which includes paintings, mixed media, and ceramic sculptures to explore the self, using mussel-shell motifs.
