Burglary—Oct. 17, 7:45 p.m. on Mellon Drive. An unknown suspect entered a victim's vehicle by unlocking the driver side door by reaching in through a window that was partially rolled down. The suspect took a gym bag containing clothing items and a gym membership card. An officer from the San Jose Police Department was able to locate a subject in possession of the victim's membership card.
Possession Of Drug—Oct. 17, 12:15 a.m. on the corner of Saratoga Avenue and Dagmar Drive. An officer made an enforcement stop on a vehicle for an expired registration tab. Upon contact, the officer spotted a pipe with marijuana residue lying on the vehicle's ashtray. According to the report, the driver admitted to having marijuana and handed over two little bags containing the drug. The driver was cited and released on the scene.
Petty Theft—Oct. 16, 11:55 a.m. on Ansley Place. A female victim reported that her vehicle, which was parked in her driveway with the doors unlocked, was searched by an unknown suspect. She said when she saw the car the next morning, her door had been left ajar and $5 was missing from the ashtray.
