Holiday crafts fair
comes to Lynbrook
Start the holiday shopping early with special, handmade gifts available at this year's holiday crafts fair. Pottery, bath items, jewelry, toys and handmade clothing are just a few of the items that will be for sale. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 15, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 16 at Lynbrook High School, 1280 Johnson Ave. in San Jose. The event is sponsored by the Lynbrook Instrumental Music Boosters, LimbFair@yahoo.com.
Educator speaks
to Saratoga parent
Susan Stone Belton, a well-known Bay Area speaker, educator and parenting expert, will speak on "How much is too much for our children?" The event will take place on Nov. 19, 7 p.m., at the Saratoga High School library, 20300 Herriman Ave. She will address how parents can balance the wants versus the needs of their students in today's society.
Westmont presents
'Comedy of Errors'
Westmont High School presents William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22. Mistaken identities create farcical confusion in one of Shakespeare's most hilarious comedies.

Seminar for parents
about raising teens
Parents are encouraged to join nationally known author Wayne Rice on Nov. 14 as he talks about how to raise capable and emotionally healthy teenagers and maintain a good parent-to-child relationship. The event runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Los Gatos United Methodist Church, 111 Church St. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door; price includes a workbook.
