Ngo joins Coldwell

Jenny Ngo has joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Los Gatos as its newest sales associate. Ngo will specialize in residential sales in Santa Clara County, according to Coldwell Banker manager Ryan Iwanaga.

Ngo, who worked at Boston Scientific Corporation as a regional technology and development coordinator in the company's human resources department, recently completed an intensive training program through De Anza College that emphasized the principles and techniques of real estate. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from UC Davis.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is located at 449 N. Santa Cruz Ave. in Los Gatos.

Gallagher a stager

Jan Gallagher, a sales associate for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Los Gatos, recently became an accredited staging professional.

Gallagher completed a rigorous two-day training program that teaches specific techniques and concepts in home presentation and staging. Upon course completion, Gallagher was awarded the credential that will allow her to professionally stage her clients' homes.

"This credential is a symbol of Jan's dedication to her clients," said Coldwell Banker manager Ryan Iwanaga.

CB helps Habitat

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Northern California has donated $131,567 to its community partner, Habitat for Humanity. The donation came at the conclusion of Coldwell Banker's six-week community-wide raffle, which was held throughout its 64 Northern California offices.

"More than 4,000 of our sales associates rallied together to make this year's raffle a huge success," said Jeff Culbertson, president and chief operating officer of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Silicon Valley. "Our team believes strongly in donating time, resources and money to ensure everyone shares in the American dream of homeownership."

This year's effort marked the 10th year that Coldwell Banker has sponsored Habitat for Humanity.

Knapp NAR director

Larry Knapp, president and COO for Alain Pinel Realtors, has been appointed director of the National Association of Realtors, the largest governing organization in the real estate industry.

Knapp, a 34-year industry veteran, also leads Alain Pinel's participation in Realty Alliance, which is a collaboration of large, independently owned, premiere real estate companies from across the United States and Canada. Association with Realty Alliance is by invitation only.

Knapp was appointed president and COO of Alain Pinel in June of 2003.

Cindy Andrade of Realty World South Bay Associates and Catherine Barrier and Pat Connolly of Intero Real Estate have gone online.

The local real estate professionals are involved with Homes101.net, a service that "combines the ease and immediacy of doing real estate business over the Internet."
