Chamber Elves
busy at work
Time is running out and Santa Claus's helpers are waiting to hear from children—and adults—who would like to send old St. Nicholas a wish list or simply a holiday cheer. The Chamber Elves will be collecting letters through Dec. 19. Residents can drop off letters in large, shiny red boxes provided at four locations—the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce office and The UPS store on Big Basin Way, as well as the Village Post Office on Saratoga Avenue and the Saratoga Main Post Office on Allendale Avenue.
City gives less
fortunate a hand
The city is participating in a food drive to help make the holiday season warmer for less-fortunate individuals. Residents who would like to take part in the drive can do so by donating nonperishable food items to the Second Harvest Food Bank. Barrels are located at the four main lobby areas on the Civic Center campus. Items that can be donated and are in highest need include powdered milk, peanut butter, pasta, tuna, fruit juices and canned foods that can be opened without using can openers. Items in glass containers will not be accepted.
