CIP decisions Library funding Tree ordinance
The Saratoga City Council will be making some tough decisions over the next several weeks regarding the city's five-year Capital Improvement Plan in response to a recent decision made by the state's governor to hold vehicle licensing fee revenues from local governments.  More The next two months will be a critical period for library volunteers, who will be putting in some extra hours to spread the word about a funding measure that would help keep all libraries within the Santa Clara County library system in check—including the Saratoga Library.  More It's been a long and drawn-out process, but tree enthusiasts may be happy to hear that the city has an updated tree ordinance,thanks to a group of dedicated city officials, the city's arborist and residents.  More
