LHGS Hall of Fame

The Los Gatos High School Athletic Hall of Fame will hold ceremonies for its first group of inductees with a special dinner slated for May 1 at the LaRinconada Country Club in Los Gatos.

The Hall of Fame committee is still attempting to reach the family of Bob Brannen to invite a representative to the event. Anyone with information on the Brannen family is urged to call Dick Sparrer at the Saratoga News, 408.354.3110, ext. 31, or email dsparrer@svcn.com.

Tickets for the Hall of Fame dinner are priced at $75, and those attending the dinner will have the opportunity to nominate former Los Gatos athletes for induction in 2005.

The Strikker softball teams are looking for players for various positions to play in the upcoming 2004 season.
