Family math night will be fun for all

The Argonaut Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association and Math Matinee, an organization not related to the school, will present Family Math Night on Feb. 5 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria. The festive evening of math games is intended to inspire even the most math-reluctant person. The night will be hands-on, with activities for all ages, abilities and interests. The concept for the event originated at UC-Berkeley's Lawrence Hall of Science as "Math Around the World." The event is $5 per child. Younger siblings are welcome, and parent admission is free. For more information or to register for the event, call the school office at 408.867.4773.
