Residential Burglary—Feb. 6, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Crayside Lane. Someone used a pry tool to gain access to a residence through a rear sliding glass door, then fled the scene. It is unknown if any items were taken.
Mail Theft—Between Jan. 31 and Feb. 7 on Purdue Drive. A woman sent a letter by certified mail on Jan. 20. She recalled the letter on Jan. 21. When she did not receive the letter within the next few days, she inquired at the post office, where personnel advised her it was sent to her residence on Jan. 31. The woman had not yet received it. The letter is an application for citizenship and contains personal information regarding the identity of her entire family.
Hit and Run—Feb. 7, 12:30 a.m. on Palm Tag Drive. A driver involved in a traffic collision fled the scene. A light cover was recovered at the scene and filed as evidence.
Attempted Burglary—Feb. 6, between 8 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. on Via Roncole. Someone damaged the sliding glass door and back door of a residence by attempting to pry them open. No entry was made into the residence and nothing was taken.
Possession—Feb. 4, 5:24 p.m. at Prospect and Saratoga-Sunnyvale roads. An officer approached the driver of a tan Buick. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver told the officer he had marijuana in his pocket and gave it to the officer. A further search revealed methamphetamines and a glass pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamines. The driver was booked into the main jail.
