Leslie Becker and Michael David Pinkerton announced their intention to wed. The bride-to-be, daughter of Fred and Judi Becker of Saratoga, graduated from Saratoga High School in 1995, received a degree in nutrition from Cal Poly­San Luis Obispo, continued her education at Boston University and currently works as a clinical dietician at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula.

Pinkerton is a carpenter with Coast County Builders. The couple met in San Luis Obispo and dated for seven years. The two plan to wed in Carmel and honeymoon in Fiji.
