Michael Nevis has been named the director of career development for Alain Pinel Realtors. With the promotion, Nevis will be responsible for running the Alain Pinel Realtors Masters Education Program, according to company president, Larry Knapp.

Nevis is the first full-time director of the new department for Alain Pinel. Prior to the promotion of Nevis, the company had relied on consulting facilitators and contributors.

A graduate of San José State University, Nevis worked as an agent in Alain Pinel's Los Gatos office.

His wife, Teri Nevis, continues to work as an agent in Los Gatos.

Mendez joins CB

Mary Mendez has been named a new sales associate for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage at 12020 Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road in Saratoga.

Mendez, a graduate of San José State University, will specialize in residential sales in the South Bay.

Mendez previously worked in sales and founded her own professional hair and makeup bridal business, a company she still owns and operates.
