The Soroptimist International group of Los Gatos is wrapping up the winter season in style with its ninth annual Spring Fling Fashion Show on March 11. Seats are filling up fast, but it's not too late to purchase tickets.
The event will kick off at 11:30 a.m. at the La Rinconada Country Club,14597 Clearview Drive in Los Gatos, with introductory speeches made by sponsoring members and those benefiting from the fundraiser, including House on the Hill, a drug rehabilitation center for women and their children under 5 years old.
Guests at the show will get a glimpse of what's hot in the fashion industry from sophisticated suits to casual outerwear and sexy formal gowns, courtesy of Designer's Corner and Patrick James.
New this year will be a dance performance by three young adults followed by a children's fashion show. Clothes for this portion are provided by Lollypops in Los Gatos.
To top off the event, guests will have an opportunity to participate in a silent auction and a raffle.
In addition to House on the Hill, proceeds will go toward supporting the Saratoga Senior Center and several scholarships.
