Highway 9 safety Foundation concerns Seeking grants
After two recent deaths along Highway 9 rocked the community, government officials are taking formal steps to improve safety on the scenic road. But the representatives also need community backing to ensure pedestrian and bicycle protection.  More Though the Saratoga­Monte Sereno Community Foundation has received $12,500 from Saratoga and several thousand dollars from private donors, some Monte Sereno residents say they have concerns about how the organization will benefit their city.  More In an effort to pursue more money for city projects, the Saratoga City Council has decided to contract with a grant-writing and -research firm.  More
