'Souper Bowl' kicks off
|
|
|
Saratoga High School ceramics teacher Leah Aguayo and junior Whitney Vidlock pack up and prepare bowls for the sixth annual 'Souper Bowl' ceramics fundraiser. The event happens on April 20, 4:307 p.m., in the school's cafeteria. Aguayo and 54 advanced ceramics students crafted 300 handmade bowls for the event. With a $10 donation, participants receive a bowl as well as homemade soup, bread and drinks. Soup choices include chicken noodle, vegetarian, minestrone, tortilla and potato corn chowder, to name a few. The bowls can be rinsed off after the meal and taken home.
