Teng at Saratoga
High for concert
Saratoga High School graduate and talented musician Vienna Teng will perform songs from her CDs titled Waking Hour and Warm Strangers on May 7 at 7:30 p.m. inside the school's library in support of the Performing Arts and Lecture Center.
Teng, who has a background in classical, folk and contemporary pop music, was featured on the David Letterman Show. Tickets, which can be purchased by calling the school's activities office at 408.867.3411, are $15 for general admission and $10 for students. Proceeds from the ticket sales will go towards the center's Curtain Call Campaign.

hold free concert
The Saratoga Symphony invites residents to a free concert featuring pianist Julia Greer and the 60-member St. Andrew's choir on May 2 at 3 p.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 13601 Saratoga Ave. Jason Klein, music director for the Saratoga Symphony, will be introducing each piece.
Greer, a former student at the Moscow Conservatory of Music, will play Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 1. The choir, directed by Hal Sundquist, will sing Haydn's "St. Nicolai Mass."

annual luncheon
The EMQ VIP League will host the third annual "Entertaining Throughout the Seasons" benefit luncheon on May 6 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fairmont Hotel, 170 S. Market St. in San Jose. 'The Wizard of Oz' at Montalvo
