Saratogans attend Stanford event

Representatives from Saratoga High School and Redwood Middle School will be participating in a Stanford University conference sponsored by the university's school of education and the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health entitled, "SOS—Stressed Out Students: Helping to improve health, school engagement and academic integrity."

The conference is designed to address the growing concern that teens often compromise their health, values and commitment to learning under the pressures of high school achievement.

A session of the event is free and open to the public on May 7 from 7:309:30 p.m. in the Cubberly Auditorium in Stanford's school of education building. For more information, visit http://sosconference.stanford.edu/.
