According to the release, a man entered Diamonds by Filice at 14510 Big Basin Way and asked to see some rings. When a female employee opened a jewelry case, the man pointed a handgun at her and ordered her to get on the floor. The owner of the store entered during the robbery and was also ordered to the floor. The robber, described as a blond, 6-foot male weighing approximately 170 pounds, fled with several items of jewelry.

The owner of the store declined to comment.
