Pauline Stevens DuSel, 89, died on April 25. Born in Bisbee, Ariz., DuSel was an active community member in both Los Gatos and Saratoga. In addition to performing with theater groups at the Saratoga Civic and the Los Gatos theaters, DuSel was a president of the American Association of University Women and the San Jose State College Faculty Wives Group. She also volunteered with the Montalvo Service Group and the Saratoga Foothill Club.

She is survived by her husband, William DuSel; her sister, Muriel Surles; her daughters, Ann Corson and Cynthia Dusel-Bacon; her son, William Dusel III; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on May 8 at 2 p.m. in the Glenn Rouse Assembly Hall at The Terraces, 800 Blossom Hill Road.
