The Saratoga Recreation Department is accepting registration for its men's D summer softball league season. The league is open to players ages 35 and over and the team registration fee is $434. Games will be played Mondays and Wednesdays, 6 p.m. and 7:05 p.m., at El Quito Park. The season begins June 7 and manager packets are now available. AYSO sign-ups

The Saratoga AYSO Region 27 will hold registration for the 2004 fall soccer season on May 15, 9:30 a.m.­1:30 p.m., and June 5, 10 a.m.­12:30 p.m., at Argonaut Elementary School.

The registration fee is $150 per player, and parents must provide the child's original birth certificate (for new players in the league), the name of the child's medical insurance carrier, name and phone number of the child's doctor, an emergency contact (name, phone and address) and the child's height and weight.

Youth football

The Campbell­Saratoga Wolverines youth football organization is holding sign-ups for players ages 8­14 and cheerleaders ages 6­15. Check the website at www.campbellfootball.net for more information.

The Wolverines will hold a car wash and league sign-ups at the Jiffy Lube, Hamilton Avenue near San Tomas Expressway, on May 15, 10 a.m.­2 p.m.

The first annual golf tournament to benefit the Santa Clara University men's soccer team will be held at the Cinnabar Hills Golf Club in San Jose on May 18, with a shotgun start set for 1:30 p.m.
