The Saratoga Community Band will play musical tunes of various genres including jazz and classical on May 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Wildwood Park with special guest soloist Molly Martindill. Admission is free. The event is sponsored by the city of Saratoga in conjunction with West Valley College Community Education. MusicFest returns
to Saratoga May 8
Watch nine local bands battle one another for cash prizes at the annual MusicFest on May 8 at Wildwood Park. Sponsored by the Saratoga Youth Commission, the event will feature various types of music from punk to alternative and hip-hop. Guests will also have an opportunity to get face paintings and henna tattoos.
The affair, starting at noon, is free and open to residents of all ages. Snacks, T-shirts and CDs will be available for purchase. For more information, contact Saratoga Recreation Program Coordinator Adam Henig at 408.868.1272.
Tsukiyama comes
to Villa Montalvo

Group will hold
wine, garden tour
South Bay Wine Tours will host a wine and garden tour in the Santa Cruz Mountains on May 30. Guests will visit Soquel Vineyards, drop in at the Baroque Music Festival's annual fundraising garden tour featuring live blues guitar music and top the day with a private wine tasting at Beauregard Vineyards.
