The Saratoga Community Band will play tunes of various genres, including jazz and classical, on May 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Wildwood Park, with special guest soloist Molly Martindill. Admission is free. The event is sponsored by the city of Saratoga in conjunction with West Valley College Community Education. Group is planning
wine, garden tour
South Bay Wine Tours will host a wine and garden tour in the Santa Cruz Mountains on May 30. Guests will visit Soquel Vineyards, drop in at the Baroque Music Festival's annual fundraising garden tour featuring live blues guitar music and top the day with a private wine tasting at Beauregard Vineyards.

Campbell-based Aerial Dance Productions is encouraging all Bay Area residents 16 and up to participate in its dance competition on June 27 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at DanceSport Center, 1824 Hillsdale Ave. The contest will have different categories including jazz, ballroom, hip-hop and modern.
