| They've been rowing boats for 25 years, and on May 1, the Los Gatos Rowing Club celebrated its years of nautical togetherness with a splashy gala at the club's boathouse at Lexington Reservoir. The setting, featuring massive white tents with flags waving and boats dotting the lake, evoked the Royal Henley Regatta in England. Dinner, an auction and dancing under stars filled the evening. |

| The YWCA in Santa Clara Valley hosted its 20th annual TWIN (Tribute to Women and Industry) awards May 4 at the San Jose Fairmont. The event recognizes successful women executives for their outstanding achievement. |
