Hoop clinic
The 10th annual Saratoga Skills Clinic, a basketball camp for girls in grades 410, will be held in June and July at Saratoga High School, under the direction of girls varsity head coach Bret Yeilding.
Camps are slated for June 1425 for girls in the fourth through sixth grades, 13 p.m. each day ($200 per player); June 28July 16 for girls in the seventh and eighth grades, 13 p.m. each day ($285); and June 14July 8 for high school girls, 35 p.m. each day ($285).

Youth football
The CampbellSaratoga Wolverines youth football organization is holding sign-ups for football players ages 814 and cheerleaders ages 614 on June 12, 10 a.m.2:30 p.m., at the Campbell Community Center, 1 W. Campbell Ave. Participants must provide birth certificate and proof of a physical.

Law Run
The seventh annual Run for the Law 5K walk/run and 10K run and corporate challenge will be held June 27, 8:30 a.m., at the West Valley Courthouse, 14205 Capri Drive in Los Gatos.
The run, a benefit for Legal Advocates for Children and Youth, will feature a flat and fast surface that runs through the streets of downtown Los Gatos and the trails of Lake Vasona Park.
The registration fee is $25 for the 10K or 5K, $23 per runner for groups of five or more, and all participants receive a T-shirt, refreshments and raffle entry.

Lipton a winner
Allie Lipton, who just completed her junior year at Monta Vista, won the Northern California Junior Excellence tennis tournament title. Lipton defeated Jennifer Yen in straight sets in the finals of the three-day invitational tournament.
Lipton, who didn't drop a single set in the tourney, earned the NorCal No. 1 ranking by virtue of her Excellence victory. She was to play in the Maze Cup tournament last weekend with the best players in NorCal facing the top players from Southern Cal.
