Park Bench—May 29 between 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Glen Brae Drive. A park bench worth $250 was stolen from the front patio of a house. The person living in the house said that his wife did not want the park bench and it was lying in the patio waiting to be picked up when it was stolen.
Reckless Driving—June 2 at 8:03 a.m. at Herriman and Lexington avenues. An officer monitoring traffic noticed a red Dodge approaching at high speed. He used his radar gun and found that the person was traveling at 52 mph in a school zone with students present. The driver, a juvenile, was stopped and cited for reckless driving.
Stolen Wallet—Between May 30 at 8 p.m. and May 31 at 4 p.m. at Glasgow Drive. A 44-year-old man had his wallet stolen with several credit cards in it. It also had about $40 in cash. The man believes that the wallet was taken when his son had a party at the house. There are no known suspects.
Tools—Between May 28 at 4 p.m. and June 1 at 7 a.m. on Sobey Road. A front-gate lock was cut and construction tools worth $4,000$5,000 were stolen. The tools were taken from various locations around the site.
Car Breaking—Between June 3 at 9:30 p.m. and June 4 at 7:45 p.m. on Devon Avenue. A man parked his Ford Explorer in front of his house. When he woke up the next morning, he found that someone had entered his unlocked vehicle and taken a manual, $200 in cash and $100 in quarters from his car.
Stolen Car—On June 3 at 9:10 p.m. on Highway 85. A man driving a Volvo was stopped for a violation. The officer checked and found that the car had been stolen in San Jose. The person was booked into the main jail. The vehicle was released to the registered owner.
Burglary—Between June 2 at 5:30 p.m. and June 3 at 11 a.m. on Saraglen Drive. A 23-year-old woman reported an auto burglary. The inside of her car had been ransacked. A car stereo worth $150 and 70 CDs worth $910 were taken. Sheriff's deputies lifted two sets of fingerprints from the car.
