Sheriff's Report
Vanishing Rock—Between June 2 at 3 p.m. and June 17 at 8:50 p.m. on Piedmont Drive. An unknown person entered a property through a fire easement and stole 30 decorative rocks. The rocks were loaded onto a vehicle in early morning. The rocks are worth more than $6,000.

Property Found—On June 18 between 6 and 8:50 p.m. on Prospect Road. A man who had taken his family to Prospect High School found some baseball gear near the baseball field. When no one claimed the gear for over an hour, he called the sheriff's office and deputies took the equipment to the department.

Glove Theft—Between June 17 at 5:30 p.m. and June 18 at 7:45 a.m. on Casa Blanca Lane. A Toyota Camry parked on the street was broken into and a pair of leather gloves stolen. The owner found the gloves missing when she woke up in the morning.

Credit Card Theft—Between June 18 at 1:45 a.m. and 12:21 p.m. on Arrowhead Lane. An 18-year-old female attended a party in Los Gatos and had her credit card stolen. The card was used to make several purchases worth about $1,000 the same day.

Vandalism—On June 18 between 12:30 and 8 a.m. on Kerwin Ranch Court. The homeowner woke up and found eggs and toilet paper in her front yard. There was some spray paint on her driveway. There was some tagging in front of her house. The damage is estimated at $2,000.

Suspicious Object—On June 14 at 9:20 a.m. on Paramount Drive. A police officer was dispatched when a resident reported a suspicious object in the front yard of the residence. The officer inspected it and found it to be a spent military ordnance. The object was transported to a bomb technician and will be destroyed.

Construction Work—On June 18 between 7 and 7:22 a.m. on Saratoga Vista Drive. A contractor working on a property said that he did not know that he could not start work until 7:30 a.m. A neighbor said that it was an ongoing problem with the homeowner.
