Sheriff's Report
Credit Card Theft—On June 25 between 2 and 3:30 p.m. on Big Basin Way. A person's Washington Mutual credit card was stolen on Big Basin Way. The card was used to make purchases worth $1,600.

Stolen Wallet—On June 24 between 3:30 and 5:46 p.m. on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. A person visiting a skin-care center had her wallet stolen. The wallet contained a driver's license, two credit cards and two ATM cards.

Balloon Throwers—On June 23 between 10:30 and 11:43 p.m. on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road and Thelma Avenue. A person complained that some people inside a Chevy Suburban threw water balloons at the victim's vehicle. An officer approached the car at the Saratoga High School parking lot. They were juveniles and admitted to throwing the balloons. Two plastic bags of balloons were found inside the vehicle. The juveniles were cited and released to their parents.

Unleashed Dogs—On June 22 at 6 p.m. at El Quito Park. Five dogs were seen running around at the park. An officer made contact with four dog owners. They were cited for the violation of a city ordinance.

Vehicle Vandalism—Between June 22 at 9 p.m. and June 23 at 7:30 a.m. on Ronnie Way. Someone cut a 12-square-inch hole in the roof of a convertible with a sharp object. The cost of repair is expected to be $500.

False Purchase—Between June 22 at 8:30 p.m. and June 23 at 10:30 a.m. at River Ranch Circle. A 50-year-old female received a phone call from Dell Computers to verify a purchase of three separate orders for $9,000. An unknown person had opened an account with Dell using her name. The orders were to be delivered to an address in San Jose but billed to a Saratoga address.

Vandalism—Between June 22 at 4 p.m. and June 23 at 11:45 a.m. on Vista Regina Lane. An unknown person entered a house and punched a hole into the wall across from the downstairs bathroom. The cost of repair is expected to be $300.
