Safe house No parcel tax Utility-tax
A home is broken into on Dagmar Drive on June 28. It is early in the morning and no one is home. Multiple items of jewelry are missing. The homeowner suffers a loss of close to $12,000.  More A first-of-its-kind parcel tax that could have benefited the Saratoga Union School District along with schools throughout the county won't be appearing on the November 2004 ballot as advocates anticipated.  More Saratoga residents are being asked to vote in November on a ballot measure that would increase their utility tax by about 5 percent—an average monthly increase of $20 per household.  More
