Commercial Burglary—Between July 3 at 5:30 p.m. and July 4 at 9:30 a.m. on Prospect Road. Someone shattered a plate glass window next to the front door of a commercial establishment. A laptop computer was taken.
Unleashed Dog—On July 3 at 5:55 p.m. on Goleta Drive. Two large unleashed dogs were observed in Azule Park. The dogs were in violation of a Saratoga city ordinance. The owners were cited.
Vehicle Vandalized—Between June 20 at noon and July 3 at 5 p.m. on Fredericksburg Drive. The front passenger-side window of a car was broken. The car was parked in the driveway while the owner was on vacation. Nothing is missing.
Battery—On July 3 between 11:20 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. on Holiday Drive. An officer responded to a complaint for battery. A man had grabbed his son. The man produced an imitation firearm and pointed it at the deputy. He was arrested and booked into the main jail.
Cone Gone—Between July 1 at 4 p.m. and July 2 at 7 a.m. on Star Ridge Drive. Eight orange traffic cones were stolen from a construction site while they were being used on the street. The cones are worth about $140.
Tools Stolen—Between June 30 at 4 p.m. and July 1 at 7:15 a.m. on Sobey Road. A lock on a tool storage shed was cut and construction tools were taken.
Stimulant—On June 29 at 6:15 a.m. on Paseo Pasada Drive and Cox Avenue. An officer accosted a person who displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a stimulant. The person's pupils were constricted and did not react to light. The person was transported to the main jail and booked.
Oil Spill—Between June 26 at 8 p.m. and June 27 at 4:30 p.m. on Fourth Street. Three buckets filled with oil were placed inside a van. The oil spilled inside the vehicle's interior. There are no known suspects.
