Karen Tsang, 38, died on Sept. 17 in Veracruz, Mexico.

Tsang's passion was healing and caring for animals, especially those injured, abused or abandoned by others.

The former Saratoga resident is survived by her parents, Wallace and Sylvia Tsang, and her brothers, Brian and Jeffrey Tsang.
