Sheriff's Report
Family Feud —On Oct. 29 at 10:24 p.m. on Devon Avenue. A person vandalized the interior of a house during a family disturbance. One of the family members accused another of being a prostitute and using cocaine. The person admitted to smoking cocaine. She was arrested for being under the influence and booked into the county jail.

Forged Checks —On Oct. 27 on Marilla Drive between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. A person stole a checkbook and cashed four checks for about $1,400. There is no more suspect information.

Gun Carrier —On Oct. 26 at 3:55 p.m. on Quito Road. A person was stopped for driving with a cracked windshield. He told the deputy that he was carrying three guns in his car. A rifle with a round of ammunition was found. A semiautomatic gun was also located. The deputy found that the guns were stolen. The person was booked into the main jail.

Kiss Caper —On Oct. 26 on Brookglen Drive at 2:15 p.m. A man had a brief conversation with a woman about her plants and then suddenly hugged her and kissed her on the cheek. Deputies located the person who said that he had no identification on him. He then gave them a fraudulent driver's license and Social Security card. He was booked into the county jail.

Passed Out —On Oct. 26 on Herriman Avenue at 6:05 p.m. A juvenile girl was found passed out in the girl's locker room. She had consumed alcoholic beverages and was too intoxicated to care for her own safety. She was transported to the hospital for treatment and then cited and released to her mother.

Missing Diamonds —Between Oct. 10 and Oct. 24 on Woodmont Drive. A pair of diamond earrings worth $5,000 were stolen from a house. The residence is being remodeled and a general contractor has been doing the work. He had subcontracted some of the work to other people.

Left Turn —On Oct. 15 on Herriman Avenue at 7:45 a.m. A person made a left turn into a parking lot. A girl in another car waiting to park got angry and threw a few coins at the car, resulting in chipped paint. The juvenile girl was cited and released.

Purple Haze —On Oct. 25 on Prospect Road at 10:15 a.m. Six juveniles were caught smoking marijuana. Some marijuana and a smoking pipe were also found. They were cited and released.
