Missing Plate —On Nov. 13 on Allendale Avenue between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. The rear license plate of a car was stolen. There are no known suspects.
Laptop Theft —Between Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 12 at 3:15 a.m. on SaratogaSunnyvale Road. The front window of a computer store was broken and a laptop computer was stolen. The computer was worth $1,450.
Locker Problem —Between Nov. 8 at 2:45 p.m. and Nov. 10 at 11:20 a.m. on Herriman Avenue. A locker in the boys locker room at Saratoga High School was broken and $5 stolen. Someone later admitted to stealing the cash and was cited and released.
Property Found —On Nov. 11 at noon on Prospect Road and Plumas Drive. A sheriff's deputy found what appeared to be a bicycle helmet on the middle of the road. On closer inspection, he found that it was a new natural-color lace bra. The evidence was booked into the sheriff's station as found property.
Disappearing Crowbar —On Nov. 10 at 7:55 a.m. on Herriman Avenue. A crowbar was stolen from the woodshop class at Saratoga High School. It was later found in the backpack of a teen. The person was cited and released to his parents.
