Sheriff's Report
Tree Removal—On Nov. 20 at noon on Titus Avenue. A tree was being removed without a permit. The tree was 30 feet in height. Sheriff's deputies cited the owner of the property but substantial damage had been done to the tree already.

Juvenile Jaunt—On Nov. 20 at 1:35 a.m. on Vista Arroyo Court. Deputies responded to a call about a suspicious person in the neighborhood. They found a male juvenile who said that his house was on Mellowood Drive. Deputies then found that he did not live at that location. He was cited and released to his parents.

Thin Air—On Nov. 18 at 1:30 a.m. on Saratoga Avenue. A person at a gas station had her purse stolen as she was putting air in her car's tires. The purse contained her credit cards, checkbook and Social Security card.

Missing Ring—Between Sept. 30 and Nov. 13 on Merribrook Drive. Someone stole a ring valued at $11,000 from a house. A camera was also stolen. The victims suspect workers who had been remodeling their bedroom.

Identity Theft—On Nov. 15, 2005 on Fieldstone Drive. A resident reported that a collection agency had been calling to tell her that she had $6,400 due on a Nextel account. But the person did not have an account with Nextel.

Whole Theft—Between Oct. 17 and 19 on Clemson Avenue. Some gift checks were stolen from a mailbox. The checks were used to make purchases at Whole Foods and a Boston Market Restaurant.

Tub Stolen—Between Nov. 9 and 15 at Paseo Tierra. A jet tub was stolen from a master bathroom.

Under The Influence—On Nov. 15 at 4 a.m. on Cox Avenue. A bicyclist was cited for riding without a light. She showed symptoms of being under the influence of a stimulant. She was booked into the main jail.
