Sheriff's Report
Under the Influence—On Jan. 9 at 4 a.m. on McCoy Avenue. A driver was stopped for speeding in a residential neighborhood. Deputies found that the person was under the influence of a controlled substance. The person admitted to using methamphetamine earlier.

Marijuana Use—On Jan. 8 at 1:16 a.m. on Campbell Avenue. A person was stopped for not having a front license plate on his car. He was in possession of marijuana and was also under the influence of a stimulant. He was booked into the main jail.

Lost Person—On Jan. 5 between 3 and 9 p.m. on Athos Court. A person suffering from Alzheimer's disease decided to a visit a friend in Los Gatos. The person got lost and did not return home until later that night.

Stimulant Use—On Jan. 5 at 1:20 a.m. on Saratoga Avenue. Deputies determined that a person was under the influence of a stimulant. She had dilated pupils and a high pulse rate. She was booked into the main jail.

Petty Theft—Between Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. and Jan. 5 at 8 a.m. on Houston Court. Someone opened a person's car and took three pieces of luggage. The missing goods are valued at $200.

Auto Theft—On Jan. 4 between 1 and 8 a.m. on Calle Tacuba. Someone entered a person's unlocked vehicle and took a leather bag and credit cards.

Pig Purloined—Between Jan. 3 and 4 on Braemar Drive. A homemade yard ornament pig made out of a propane tank was stolen. It is valued at $100.

Remodel Theft—Between Dec. 23 and 26 on Canyon View Drive. A person whose home was being remodeled claimed that several items were missing.
