Sheriff's Report
Marijuana Use—On Feb. 5 at 5 p.m. on Glen Brae Drive. Deputies detected a heavy smell of marijuana near a park. They found four persons who voluntarily surrendered the marijuana they were smoking. They were cited and released.

Grand Theft—Between Feb. 3 at 11 p.m. and Feb. 4 at 5 p.m. Someone opened an unlocked vehicle and took several items.

Resisting Officer—On Feb. 5 at 12:30 a.m. on Glasgow Drive. Someone reported a disturbance. Deputies found a person with a $5,000 warrant for his arrest. The person resisted when deputies tried to handcuff him. He was arrested and booked into the main jail.

Dog Bite—On Feb. 4 at 10:30 a.m. on Richelieu Court. A person was attacked by two dogs as he was walking. He was treated for multiple puncture wounds on his leg. Deputies searched the area but could not find the dogs.

Employee Theft—Between Jan. 22 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 3 at 8:20 p.m. on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. Two employees stole $1,000 from a safe. They were fired.

Stolen Vehicle—On Feb. 1 between 6 and 9 p.m. on Prospect Road. Someone drove away with a car while the owner was in class.

Battery Incident—On Jan. 31 at 4:45 p.m. on Saratoga Avenue. A person was seen walking on the center median of the road. He then rushed across the road in the face of oncoming traffic. When deputies tried to stop him, he elbowed and kicked them. He was arrested and transported to the Valley Medical Center and then to the main jail.

Speeding Car—On Jan. 31 at 4:10 p.m. on Saratoga Avenue. A person revved his car's engine and passed another car at 60 miles per hour. He was cited and released.
