Traveling Meth—On Feb. 13 at 12:15 a.m. on Paseo Presada. A bicyclist was stopped by a deputy for riding without a light. The person agreed to a consensual search. A small amount of methamphetamine was found. He was arrested and booked into the main jail.
Speeding Minor—On Feb. 12 at 3 p.m. on Saratoga Avenue. A minor was stopped by deputies for driving at a speed of more than 100 miles per hour. He was also under the influence.
No License—On Feb. 12 at 12:22 a.m. on Clemson Drive. A car was stopped for a driving violation. Deputies found an unlicensed 17-year-old driver at the wheel. He was released to his parents.
Stolen Ring—On Feb. 11 between 1 and 2 p.m. on Big Basin Way. Two people walked into a jewelry store. One distracted the owner while the second person stole a ring worth $6,500. The owner discovered the theft later.
Bomb Threat—On Feb. 10 at 10:20 a.m. on Herriman Avenue. A student told his teacher that he wanted to bomb the school. The teacher reported the incident to school authorities. A search of his residence was conducted but no explosives were found. The student later said that he had made the comment to make the teacher angry.
Auto Burglary—Between Feb. 9 and 13 on Swarthmore Drive. Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole some computer equipment. Deputies lifted four sets of fingerprints from the car.
Car damage—On Feb. 8 between 1:30 and 1:45 a.m. at Knollwood Drive. Someone damaged the rear door of a parked car. The damage is estimated to be around $150.
Under the Influence—On Feb. 9 at 1:30 a.m. on Bucknall Road. The driver of a car was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He was under the influence of a stimulant and had a wide variety of burglary tools with him. He was arrested and booked into the main jail.
